Founder & Nail Technician
I am mother, a wife, a writer, a mover, a shaker, and I do not believe in doing anything without a PRAYER! I am a child of God.
My husband, Tyler, and I have four beautiful children. For many years, we lived “our way.” We learned the hard way that GOD’S WAY is the ONLY WAY! We have surrendered our lives to Christ, and we are excited to see what the future holds for us as a couple, a family, a business, and a ministry.
Color of Light began as a tiny but FIERCE seed that The Lord planted in my heart. First and foremost, I want to take this opportunity recognize that all glory goes to HIM. I have been obedient to His direction for my life, but without Him none of this is possible. He is my Father, my Protector, and my Strength.
I would like to give you a glimpse of where Color of Light has been, where we are, and where we hope to go in the future.
Color of Light began as a women’s Bible study. It was a small group of approximately twenty women. We joined together weekly in order to study God’s Word, support one another, to share, and to inspire.
After some time and many prayers, God revealed the next step. It was placed on my heart to move forward and open a faith-centered salon. Color of Light Salon opened the doors in April of 2013. We love our cozy, bright, spirit-filled spot here on the court square in Benton, Kentucky. We have felt God’s hand on us and blessing upon us through it all. We are so very thankful to be able to worship as we work. HE is first. We make no exceptions. We are here to shine His bright LIGHT and show His big LOVE.
Recently, we launched our organic skincare line, Color of Light Skincare. Our opening line includes thirteen pure, fabulous, and faith-inspired products. We look forward to the expansion of Color of Light Skincare.
We are excited to announce the opening of the Color of Light Gift Shoppe that will be open Spring of 2015!
May God continue to show us His will and His way.
When in doubt, SHINE BRIGHTER.
